IIRF vehemently condemns the inhuman terrorist attacks on the places of worship of our Christian brothers and sisters

The Islamic Information and Research Foundation (IIRF) vehemently condemns the attacks on the places of worship of our Christian brothers and sisters on their holy day of Easter, as well as on the hotels and the tragic loss of lives. We send our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all victims of these attacks. Our special prayers and condolences to our Christian brethren who have been affected by the events of the weekend. We also express our deepest sympathies to families of other nationalities that were injured and killed.

We renounce all terrorist actions and openly declare that Islam and we are free from their horrible actions. The religion of Islam is a religion that teaches high human values like peace, love and justice. “If anyone kills a human being, it shall be as thought he had killed all of mankind.” (Holy Quran 5:32)

This was a heinous crime against humanity, and we condemn it wholeheartedly. Attacks of this nature are designed to bring animosity and division between ethnic communities and faiths.  We must not allow this to result in division as together we can and will prevail.

We hope and pray that justice will be swift to the perpetrators of these evil acts and that all these involved will be brought to justice. The Islamic Information and Research Foundation (IIRF) stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in our country.
